Waterford Hockey Club would like to invite the public of all ages to our free family open day.
This fun filled event takes place in Newtown School on Saturday the 18th of August and is open to everyone who was inspired by watching our successful senior women’s hockey team in the recent World Cup.
So, if you want to find out more about this exciting sport please join us from 11am until 2pm where coaches and players from Waterford Hockey Club will meet and greet you. The club will be holding an introduction to hockey including mini games, target practice, obstacle courses, tennis hockey and much more, including a bouncy castle and bbq on the day.
Then, stick around to get a full experience of hockey by watching our senior men and women teams play pre-season matches at 3pm. We do hope that you can join Waterford Hockey Club at this very important time for the sport.
